Have you noticed it?

Have you noticed it?

No, you’re not imagining it, we’ve noticed it too.

Sunshine!

Spring has almost sprung and we couldn’t be happier.  Easter is all about new beginnings and nature certainly hasn’t let us down this time.  The days are longer, the birds are singing, we are surrounded by beautiful colours and it is as if everyone and everything has breathed a sigh of relief.  Phew, we got through it.  We survived the winter; the cold, the damp, the dark.  Of course we did, it’s not like it was something we weren’t expecting and it’s nowhere near as bad as what some people around the world have to deal with.  However, we are not fooled and of course know full well that during the coming months, although the calendar dictates that it is indeed ‘spring’, we will also have to endure a few of the cold, damp days still!

But isn’t it nice?  Everyone just seems to be a little perkier!

The Easter weekend was like a flick of a switch and although most of us blatantly gorged ourselves on way too much chocolate – it didn’t really matter because it’s Easter and that’s what you’re supposed to do.  When it’s allowed like that, calories don’t count.  Maybe that’s why everyone is in a better mood?

We have found that our clients have a bit more of a spring in their step too.  Projects that have been talked and thought about, had meetings on, then put on the back burner are suddenly reappearing.  New exciting projects are being thrown into the mix and older ones are being given a new lease of life.  This can’t all be down to the weather can it? We don’t care, we’re so pleased that creative minds are starting to whir again and people are prepared to give these ideas a chance to develop.

Maybe we should all see this time as a new beginning.  Dust down your do-do list and spring clean that marketing plan.  If an idea is taking ages to progress or it’s not quite going in the direction you want it to, maybe it needs a brand new direction.  There is no rule to say that you can’t scrap it and start again!  What’s the point of (to use a horrible expression) flogging a dead horse?  There is probably a very good reason why it keeps getting put to the bottom of the pile.

New season, new ideas, new drive.  Put the spring back in your step…and of course we’d love to skip along with you!
